Terms of Service

Effective date: August 31, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Carmel Valley Test Prep, which operates Sub Concierge (“Sub Concierge,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Sub Concierge monitors the Frontline Absence Management substitute board and, based on the preferences you set, notifies you of matching assignments and can accept assignments that meet the criteria you have authorized. Acceptances happen automatically according to your rules.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and an authorized substitute with a valid Frontline account in good standing. You are responsible for maintaining your eligibility and your standing with your districts and with Frontline.

3. Your account and credentials

You agree to provide accurate information, including working Frontline credentials, and to keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if your Frontline password changes.

4. Authorization to act on your behalf

You authorize Sub Concierge to sign in to your Frontline account and to view the substitute board and accept assignments on your behalf, strictly according to the preferences and rules you set. You may change or withdraw this authorization at any time by updating your preferences, pausing, or closing your account.

5. Your responsibilities

• Honoring assignments booked for you — showing up for and fulfilling any assignment booked under your authorized criteria, and canceling through the proper channels if you cannot.
• Your professional obligations — complying with the rules, policies, and terms of your districts, your employer, and Frontline.
• The accuracy of your criteria — assignments are accepted based on the rules you set.

6. No guarantee

The service helps you find and secure assignments but does not guarantee that any assignment will be available, matched, or accepted, or that you will receive any particular number of assignments. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

7. Not affiliated with Frontline

Sub Concierge is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Frontline Education. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service is consistent with any agreements you have with those parties.

8. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

The service is offered as a paid subscription billed through Stripe, starting with a 14-day free trial. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges of $19/month at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If a payment fails, we may pause the service for your account until it is resolved.

9. SMS program

If you opt in to SMS, you agree to receive notifications about matching jobs and bookings; frequency varies with your activity; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sub Concierge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, missed assignments, or lost income. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sub Concierge from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your assignments, or your breach of these Terms or of your obligations to your districts or to Frontline.

12. Termination & governing law

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or as required for security or legal reasons. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
